And the differences are more than just skin-deep. They run to the very core of Deckorators' boards.

Deckorators have side-stepped the biggest problems with composite decking with new thinking. Different materials. Different technology.

In most cases, composite decking is made from a mix of recycled plastic, wood shavings/pulp, and glues to bind the core materials together. An outer-shell, or capping, is then bonded to this 'core'. Providing protection, colour, and the appearance of grain variation.

Deckorators decking is a different beast altogether. Made entirely from a patented mineral-based technology, the core and outer profile are one-and-the-same. There is no coating to peel, chip, or crack off.

Deckorators boards are lighter. Tougher. And, without wood in the mix, expansion and contraction are virtually non-existent.
